Lieutenant General TNI (Ret) DR. (HC) Herman Bernhard Leopold Mantiri, widely known as HBL Mantiri, was born in Bogor, West Java, on 11th September 1939, and was the former Chief of Staff (KASUM) ABRI (Indonesian Army).

A graduate of Akademi Militer Nasional (National Military Academy), the class of 1962, and graduated from SESKOAD in 1977. He also attended IDMC education in Monterey, USA, in 1978, and was the former Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore.

Mr. Mantiri had a long career in the military and had had some important and strategic positions in TNI-AD (Indonesian Army), starting with ASRENA KASAD and continued onward to become the Chief of Staff (KASUM) ABRI. He was also the Udayana Field Commander IX in 1992.

He is proficient in 4 languages, English, French, Dutch and German, and is known as a religious and a humble man. He has been awarded various and prestigious military award, several of them are SATYA LENCANA KESETIAAN XXIV (Badge of Loyalty XXIV), BINTANG YUDA DHARMA PRATAMA, and even BINTANG MAHA PUTRA UTAMA.

Despite his busy schedule and diverse activities, Mr. Mantiri serves as the Chairman of the Board of Advisors (BOA) of PT. Bisnis Mandiri Wisesa, as well as Commissioner and Director of several other companies.

Anggapan Sormin Siregar, SH was a graduate from Jayabaya Law School University, Jakarta and started his career as a lawyer since 1997. Before he opened his own legal firm, A. Sormin, SH & Associates, he worked at another law firm in 1996.
